------ STUDIO CALENDAR - 2008/2009 Season ------

FALL REGISTRATION! - Fall 2008 class schedule is available
(schedule).
Registration Open House will be held on these dates:
* Aug 27, 2008 from 5-7pm
* Aug 28, 2008 from 5-7pm

Fall Semester Begins - The 18-week fall semester begins on Monday, September 8, 2008 -
Tuition is due on or before the beginning of the semester.
If you are paying the tuition in two installments,
the second tuition installment payment for the fall semester is due by October 13, 2008.

AUDITION for the YPSILANTI AREA DANCERS!
-The open audition for dancers for YAD's fall performance of the Nutcracker ballet,
will be held at the Randazzo Dance Studio on Sunday, September 14, 2008.
The time of the audition depends upon the dancer's age.
* 1:00-1:45 pm for ages 5-7
* 2:00-3:00 pm for ages 8-11
* 3:15-4:30 pm for ages 12+

Randazzo's Showcase Costume Fees Due - The fees for
purchasing the ballet costumes for the Spring student Showcase are $70 and are due by November 1, 2008.
Arrangements for costumes for certain non-ballet classes will be worked out on a case-by-case basis.

Thanksgiving Week Break - Regular studio
classes will not be held from Monday, November 24, 2008 thru Sunday, November 30, 2008.
Regular fall semester classes resume on Monday, December 1, 2008.

YAD's 41st Anniversary Holiday Performance -
to be held at Ypsilanti High School on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7.
This year's performance will feature the Nutcracker ballet.
*Please note, unlike previous years, the studio will not close on the days YAD is rehearsing at Ypsilanti High School.
Regular studio classes will be held and students who are in YAD and can not attend their regular class
due to rehearsals can make up the missed classes in a similar alternative class.

Winter Break - Regular studio classes will
not be held from Sunday, December 21, 2008 thru Sunday, January 4, 2009.
Note that the Winter Break takes place within the fall semester. Fall
semester classes resume on Monday, January 5, 2009.

Sole Full of Rhythm -
The 2009 Sole Full of Rhythm performance is set for February 5-7, 2009 at the
Riverside Arts Center, Ypsilanti.

Tuition is due on or before the beginning of the semester. If you are paying the tuition in two installments,
the second tuition installment payment for the winter semester is due by March 9, 2009.

Early Registration for Summer and Fall Sessions -
Students can register for the 2009 Summer Arts Camp, the 2009 Summer Ballet Intensive and the 2009 Fall Semester
beginning in March 2009. Ask the studio directors if you have questions about class options for returning students.

Spring Break - Regular studio classes are
not held from Friday, April 10, 2009 through Friday, April 17, 2009.
Normal winter semester classes resume on Saturday, April 18, 2009.

Memorial Day - The studio is closed on Memorial Day, May 25, 2009.
Students who missed regularly scheduled classes on that day can make them up in a similar alternative class.

Student Showcase Performance - The date and time of the Randazzo Showcase performance has yet to be determined. Stay tuned...

Registration for the 2009 Fall Semester continues in August 2009.
