------ STUDIO CALENDAR - 2010/2011 Season ------

FALL REGISTRATION! - Fall class schedule is available
(schedule).
Registration Open House will be held on Aug 9, 2010 from 5-7pm for new students

Fall Semester Begins - The Fall semester begins on Monday, September 13, 2010 - Tuition is due on or before the beginning of the semester. If you are paying the tuition in two installments, the second tuition installment payment for the fall semester is due by October 11, 2010.

AUDITION for the YPSILANTI AREA DANCERS!
-The open audition for dancers for YAD's fall performance of the Nutcracker Ballet, will be held at the Randazzo Dance Studio on Sunday, September 19, 2010. The time of the audition depends upon the dancer's age:
* 1:00-1:45 pm for ages 6-7
* 2:00-3:00 pm for ages 8-11
* 3:15-4:30 pm for ages 12+
*Note: dancers new to YAD must be at least 6 years old

Randazzo's Showcase Costume Fees Due - The fees for
purchasing the ballet costumes for the Spring student Showcase are due by November 1, 2010.
Arrangements for costumes for certain non-ballet classes will be worked out on a case-by-case basis.

Thanksgiving Week Break - Regular studio
classes will not be held from Monday, November 22, 2010 thru Sunday, November 28, 2010.
Regular fall semester classes resume on Monday, November 29, 2010.

YAD's 42nd Anniversary Holiday Performance -
to be held at Ypsilanti High School on Saturday, December 4, and Sunday, December 5, 2010.
This year's performance will feature the Nutcracker.
*Please note, unlike previous years, the studio will not close on the days YAD is rehearsing at Ypsilanti High School.
Regular studio classes will be held and students who are in YAD and cannot attend their regular class
due to rehearsals can make up the missed classes in a similar alternative class.

Winter Break - Regular studio classes will
not be held from Mondday, December 20, 2010 thru Sunday, January 2, 2011.
Note that the Winter Break takes place within the fall semester. Fall
semester classes resume on Monday, January 3, 2011.

Winter Semester Begins - The winter semester begins on Monday, February 7, 2011 -Tuition is due on or before the beginning of the semester. If you are paying the tuition in two installments,
the second tuition installment payment for the winter semester is due by March 7, 2011.

Early Registration for Summer and Fall Sessions -
Students can register for the 2010 Summer Arts Camp, the 2011 Summer Ballet Intensive and the 2010 Fall Semester
beginning in March 2011. Ask the studio directors if you have questions about class options for returning students.

Spring Break - TBA and will follow the Ann Arbor Schools.

Sole Full of Rhythm -
The 2011 Sole Full of Rhythm performance is set for May 13 and 14, 2011.

Memorial Day - The studio is closed on Memorial Day, May 30, 2011.
Students who missed regularly scheduled classes on that day can make them up in a similar alternative class.

Student Showcase Performance - The date of the Randazzo Showcase performance is tentatively set for June 10 and 11, 2011.

2011 Summer Intensive Ballet Program - schedule to be announced.

Registration for Fall 2011 Semester -
Registration for the 2011 Fall Semester begins in the spring and continues in August 2011.
Come and discuss class options with studio directors at one of the Open Houses.
