Opus Mime is a performance group whose purpose is promoting the art form of mime rooted in the work of French masters Marcel Marceau and Etienne Decroux, and Polsh master Stefan Niedzialkowski.   Mime focuses on using the body to create images and discover the dramatic poetry of movement.   As Opus Mime members advance they compose and choreograph their own mime sketches.   Opus Mime has performed in various schools, festivals, clubs and concert venues in the Southeastern, Michigan.   The group was founded in 2000 and directed by Michael Lee.
